Making a return with Rue La La is like going to battle. They use a tactic of dragging out the returns process with constant delays, having the consumer wait a week or longer just to get the returns address.

Every time they send an email, it is vague, saying things like: wait 3-5 more business days, wait 7-10 more business days, we are looking into this, we are studying the matter, etc." But wait: this is just the first step of the most grueling returns process in on-line transactions. Even after your returns is back at Rue La La, they will HOLD ONTO YOUR MONEY with the same delay tactics! My advice: as soon as you receive faulty goods from Rue La La, open a dispute with your payment company (your credit card, or PayPal, etc.) and DO NOT CLOSE the complaint.

Rue La La told me to close my PayPal case so that they would "be able to send me a return label." This is bunk. It is just a way for Rue La La to leave the consumer unprotected by the complaint review process Keep your case open during the course of the return, as this is the best way to protect yourself from Rue La La's shady business practices.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $900.

Preferred solution: Full refund.

Rue La La Cons: Ignoring requests, Getting ripped off, Business practices, Returns delays, Not refunding money.
